We have renewed faith in our friends restaurant recommendations. Walking distance from Buddy Dive, the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was comfortable for individuals, couples, and families. Edite provided excellent service and food recommendations.

Great crab croquettes! Maybe a little pretentious; when the place has only 1 table filled at 5:50 should you really go and check the reservations list for one guest? No seating at the large full bar, weird.

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Our waitress was young and not really attentive. There was another waitress that checked on us and picked up the slack. Overall it was a very nice experience. I had the Curry and enjoyed it.

We came here because they were open for lunch on a Monday and we're very glad to have tried it; we had an excellent meal.I enjoyed the chicken coconut curry and I'd definitely order it again. My wife had the plantain burger (burger between two fried plantain "buns") and loved it, and her mom enjoyed the mahi sandwich.The building is open-air with a very nice breeze and fans to keep it comfortable in the afternoon.

This was a great place to eat. The food was fantastic and the service was pretty good. The atmosphere is very nice for dinner time. I would recommend bringing bug spray as we were attacked by three mosquitoes pretty hard. The only other issue was the wait for dessert, it took about 20-25 minutes to get a carrot cake, which was a little unfortunate being that the rest of the food came pretty quick. Otherwise I would recommend a visit here! They have a daily fish catch and a daily rice special!

This was the best meal we had in our vacation so far!Making a reservation is very much recommended though, it's a popular place!I had the quesadilla mexicana, which was delicious. Other people in my group had other dishes, and everyone was very happy with their food. The staff was attentive and friendly. The cocktails are worth it as well.The atmosphere of the place is perfect if you're in a holiday mood! Full marks from us!

Great staff and good service. Some menu items are very good, others are not as good. Called ahead to reserve a table but could have probably gotten seated fairly quickly without them. Drinks were also good. The flan-like dessert is very good.

My husband and I just had a wonderful meal here. I ordered the fish and shrimp pasta which was so delicious! I also had the salad as an appetizer and it was large and full of fresh ingredients. Drinks were refreshing. Prices very reasonable, service was attentive and friendly. Live music as well was a plus!! Note for others; the blackened fish dish is very spicy! Sometimes we have blackened dishes that are not so spicy but this dish is spicy ?️

Fantastic restaurant in Bonaire. A few minute walk from buddy dive making it very convenient. The food was a top notch Latin American seafood fusion. We both had the fish and shrimp panache and it was excellent. Also, we finished it of with a light cheese cake. A little hot while we were there but overall great food and atmosphere.

We had a really nice visit at eddy’s restaurant. It’s has a cozy atmosphere with a small pool and inside garden. The staff was really friendly and there was free water and the waitress keeps the glasses full what is also really nice! I had the vegetarian curry and my bf had a steak. It was both really tasty and full of flavors. Unfortunately no photo this time.

This place is pretty good. I would leave a 5 star, but like most island restaurants, it’s on the pricier side without delivering 5 star quality. I have it 4 instead of 3 because the atmosphere and music, if you can even get a seat, is very good. I’ll go back.

Absolutely amazing! My family and I frequent the island of Bonaire from time to tome and stopped by Eddie’s this go around. Edite our waitress was so attentive, informative, and pleasant! We appreciated all the staff, Joe behind the bar was also exceptional! Drinks were great, food was great, everything was all great! We will be back ?

It was almost empty but they still made us wait before sitting. Food was ok. Pumpkin soup was weird. Service was arrogant. Lady kept looking and looking at me??? There're so many places with great food and service in Bonaire. Do not recommend

Our party of 5 had dinner at Eddy's. The food was excellent! Robert took awesome care of all of us. We enjoyed the food and service so much we made reservations to enjoy them again in a few days, for our last night in Bonaire.

I really like Eddy's Restaurant. The first time my partner and I went there, they were nearly fully booked but were able to find us a table - I would definitely recommend making a reservation! The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with rustic "island" decor and the music is upbeat and vibey. It's pleasant to sit outside next to the pool and enjoy the cool evening breeze. The staff are all extremely friendly and I appreciate that they always keep our glasses of water full (it's the little things)!They only have 3 vegetarian mains on the menu, of which we have tried 2 - the rasta pasta and the Caribbean curry. The pasta was nice but a bit bland, while the curry was great and a perfect combination of creamy and spicey. We ordered the cheesecake for dessert and were pleasantly surprised that it was a baked San Sébastien cheesecake - the best one I've had in ages! We really enjoyed our time at Eddy's and will definitely be back.

Eddy and his team provide great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a bit of subtle fun, too. Our group of 20+ changed our seeting arrangements several times, but Eddy was very accommodating. The food is top-notch. This is a great local restaurant where everyone can enjoy a good meal.

Found this restaurant based on reviews and it has the best food on Bonaire! Staff was lovely, food was excellent and atmosphere amazing. Clearly our best dining experience on the island. Book in advance, they do get really busy and sometimes are booked for private events.

Literally hot as hell. The food was pretty good. The service was really, really slow. We were there 2 hours just for 2 of us (there were about 3 other tables with patrons when we arrived). There were ceiling fans, but they did a terrible job of cooling things off. The server wouldn't allow my husband to order desert for me when I was in the bathroom. The server told my husband (of 13 years) he needed to let his daughter (me) make that call regarding desert. Super weird. Took us about 30-40 minutes to get our dessert.

Very tasty food, good cocktails, and good service. First place we have been to on the island where the vegetarian options have actually had thought put into them.Not going to lie, I was suspicious when my wife wanted to go here because it is a resort restaurant which alsways makes me thing bland food, but man, the food was good.My arepitas were great, and my wifes pumpkin soup was phenomenal. Going to need to try to recreate it at home. My fish picante was well blackened yet also cooked thoroughly without being dry. Very impressed. My wife had the vegetarian Thai curry and it was great.The service was also prompt and courteous. Would come back in a heartbeat.

While in Bonaire we grabbed dinner at Eddy's one night. Note, you need reservation to get in!Friendly, attentive staff and great ambiance. comfortable seating and air conditioning.For dinner I went with a pesto pasta with shrimp and catch of the day, and I might have inhaled it - it was amazing.I then attempted to snag a dessert, though they had run out! that might just speak at how great the food was.I could definitely see returning next time I am in town.

Eddy's is fine, but there is definitely better food on the island to be had. We are visiting Bonaire for the first time for a dive trip and came by after seeing the stellar reviews here. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but we found the food and service to be decidedly mediocre after having eaten at several other places at similar price points. If you have ever stayed at an all-inclusive resort aimed at American tourists, this food would rival the best buffet you could expect at such a place. Tasty enough, but nothing special.

At here based on some reviews and friends recommendations. Our group ordered the peppercorn tenderloin steak as well as another tenderloin steak option (may have been called "the usual"). They were both HUGE. And they were both tender and delicious. Service was also VERY good and we were never without water, etc.. Our server (I don't recall her name, but she was from Texas) was top notch and checked on us often. As others have said - def put on some bug repellent, cause they were mosquitos (but that can be said of most places on Bonaire). If 4.5 stars was an option I'd have chosen that. Docked a half star for a questionable margarita and slightly odd location. We'd come back here for the food and service in a heartbeat.

Third time we have been here in two years. Always fresh and good food and friendly service. The vegetarian options are also worth a try (especially the Rasta Pasta). Eddy’s is one of our favorites on Bonaire! Highly recommended.

Service was great. Some of the best service on the island. The food was good and the atmosphere was good. The inside outside atmosphere was great even with it being windy. The manager was fantastic along with all the staff.

Stopped there a couple of Bonaire vacations ago - we were hungry, tired, and Eddy's was right by where we were staying. What a find! The meal then was perfect with fish, well-prepared and seasoned vegetables, and of course dessert. We've since returned on subsequent vacations and have been treated to the same fine quality and warm ambiance. We've most often gotten fish of the day which they do an excellent job of cooking - not too much, not too little. Everything has been delicious!Eddy's has a very nice layout because tables aren't crammed together and the high ceiling plus open air aspect are so comfortable. Be sure to apply bug spray before visiting if you're as delicious to mosquitos as I am. But then this piece of advice applies to any open air restaurant on Bonaire.Everyone working there was welcoming. A special shout out to our main server Bompeti! May you always have that infectious joy for living.A meal at Eddy's is time and money well spent. So worth it!

We absolutely loved Eddy's! The selection was great, the serving size and quality of the food was perfect. The staff were very attentive and super friendly. We considered this one of the best meals we had on the island!!

This is one of our two favorite restaurants in Bonaire (the other is across the street, very casual, Doner Station). They like for you to make a reservation and spend some time there, but on this occasion we forgot and popped in anyway at 6pm. Every table had a reserved sign on it, but they kindly seated us and asked that we be finished before 8 -- no problem! We love to sit outdoors near the beautiful pool drinking their delicious beverages, especially the Cadillac Margaritas. Every dish is superb. I had excellent quesadillas and my wife had an awesome shrimp dish. The salad with goat cheese rocks. Best of all is the service. It is always such a pleasure to meet the staff at Eddy's. Our favorite waiter on this planet is Bompeti. You have got to meet him. Talented, sweet, smart and just a wonderful person, Bompeti, from Congo! We will always return to Eddy's.

Wow! What a surprise. Had been passing by for two weeks, finally stopped and we were very pleasantly surprised. ALL servers were kind, fun and helpful. Food was fantastic including the house salad, Empanaditas, Grilled Tenderloin, and Tres Leches!! This is one to which we will return!

Eddy’s is a must visit for Bonaire. The rum cocktails are fantastic and the appetizers are excellent. I recommend sitting with Alexandra for your server. She is super nice and really knows the menu. A great dinner!

We are on vacation in Bonaire for 10 days and doing most of the cooking ourselves. We are only going out to restaurants 3 times and needed to choose wisely. We were looking for a restaurant on the waterfront but came across Eddy's on the review site. Even though it isn't on the water we thought we'd give it a try based on the reviews and menu.Eddy's did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and all wore masks. They are only open a few days a week because of Covid and it would have been nice to see more people here because the food was so good. I started with a Cadillac Margarita and it was very yummy and not lacking on tequila! My partner and I both had beef dishes, she had the green peppercorn filet and I had the beef emince. The beef on both dishes was perfectly cooked!! We had so much food we ended up taking some home!We topped off the night with some Gran Marnier and their dessert which like a flan ( can't remember the name!). Alexandra was very polite and at the table when we needed something. We would definitely go back to Eddy's!! The atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious! Thank you!

We had dinner at Eddy's tonight sooo good! I had a great glass of chardonnay( just asked for house ) followed by crab cake appetizer with wonderful sauce. Then we shared a creamy soup ajiaco and Coco Loco shrimp. Wonderful and great service reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed the food and service. Ask your server their recommendation...we were not disappointed. The Ajiaco soup and cheesecake were exceptional!! Portions are healthy, so bring your appetite!Live music on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The artist is a bit of a character and the music was good. Open M-F 6 to 11pm (kitchen closes at 10). We WILL return. Make a reservation to ensure you can be seated.

I ordered the Local market which the catch of the day and goat. The fish was wahoo, which was tasty. The goat was delicious but loaded with bones. They request that you make reservations and come prepared to spend 1-2 hours there. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There was live music. Definitely will go back

Literally hot as hell. The food was pretty good. The service was really, really slow. We were there 2 hours just for 2 of us (there were about 3 other tables with patrons when we arrived). There were ceiling fans, but they did a terrible job of cooling things off. The server wouldn't allow my husband to order desert for me when I was in the bathroom. The server told my husband (of 13 years) he needed to let his daughter (me) make that call regarding desert. Super weird. Took us about 30-40 minutes to get our dessert.

Very tasty food, good cocktails, and good service. First place we have been to on the island where the vegetarian options have actually had thought put into them.Not going to lie, I was suspicious when my wife wanted to go here because it is a resort restaurant which alsways makes me thing bland food, but man, the food was good.My arepitas were great, and my wifes pumpkin soup was phenomenal. Going to need to try to recreate it at home. My fish picante was well blackened yet also cooked thoroughly without being dry. Very impressed. My wife had the vegetarian Thai curry and it was great.The service was also prompt and courteous. Would come back in a heartbeat.

While in Bonaire we grabbed dinner at Eddy's one night. Note, you need reservation to get in!Friendly, attentive staff and great ambiance. comfortable seating and air conditioning.For dinner I went with a pesto pasta with shrimp and catch of the day, and I might have inhaled it - it was amazing.I then attempted to snag a dessert, though they had run out! that might just speak at how great the food was.I could definitely see returning next time I am in town.

Eddy's is fine, but there is definitely better food on the island to be had. We are visiting Bonaire for the first time for a dive trip and came by after seeing the stellar reviews here. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but we found the food and service to be decidedly mediocre after having eaten at several other places at similar price points. If you have ever stayed at an all-inclusive resort aimed at American tourists, this food would rival the best buffet you could expect at such a place. Tasty enough, but nothing special.

At here based on some reviews and friends recommendations. Our group ordered the peppercorn tenderloin steak as well as another tenderloin steak option (may have been called "the usual"). They were both HUGE. And they were both tender and delicious. Service was also VERY good and we were never without water, etc.. Our server (I don't recall her name, but she was from Texas) was top notch and checked on us often. As others have said - def put on some bug repellent, cause they were mosquitos (but that can be said of most places on Bonaire). If 4.5 stars was an option I'd have chosen that. Docked a half star for a questionable margarita and slightly odd location. We'd come back here for the food and service in a heartbeat.

Third time we have been here in two years. Always fresh and good food and friendly service. The vegetarian options are also worth a try (especially the Rasta Pasta). Eddy’s is one of our favorites on Bonaire! Highly recommended.

Service was great. Some of the best service on the island. The food was good and the atmosphere was good. The inside outside atmosphere was great even with it being windy. The manager was fantastic along with all the staff.

Stopped there a couple of Bonaire vacations ago - we were hungry, tired, and Eddy's was right by where we were staying. What a find! The meal then was perfect with fish, well-prepared and seasoned vegetables, and of course dessert. We've since returned on subsequent vacations and have been treated to the same fine quality and warm ambiance. We've most often gotten fish of the day which they do an excellent job of cooking - not too much, not too little. Everything has been delicious!Eddy's has a very nice layout because tables aren't crammed together and the high ceiling plus open air aspect are so comfortable. Be sure to apply bug spray before visiting if you're as delicious to mosquitos as I am. But then this piece of advice applies to any open air restaurant on Bonaire.Everyone working there was welcoming. A special shout out to our main server Bompeti! May you always have that infectious joy for living.A meal at Eddy's is time and money well spent. So worth it!

We absolutely loved Eddy's! The selection was great, the serving size and quality of the food was perfect. The staff were very attentive and super friendly. We considered this one of the best meals we had on the island!!

This is one of our two favorite restaurants in Bonaire (the other is across the street, very casual, Doner Station). They like for you to make a reservation and spend some time there, but on this occasion we forgot and popped in anyway at 6pm. Every table had a reserved sign on it, but they kindly seated us and asked that we be finished before 8 -- no problem! We love to sit outdoors near the beautiful pool drinking their delicious beverages, especially the Cadillac Margaritas. Every dish is superb. I had excellent quesadillas and my wife had an awesome shrimp dish. The salad with goat cheese rocks. Best of all is the service. It is always such a pleasure to meet the staff at Eddy's. Our favorite waiter on this planet is Bompeti. You have got to meet him. Talented, sweet, smart and just a wonderful person, Bompeti, from Congo! We will always return to Eddy's.

Wow! What a surprise. Had been passing by for two weeks, finally stopped and we were very pleasantly surprised. ALL servers were kind, fun and helpful. Food was fantastic including the house salad, Empanaditas, Grilled Tenderloin, and Tres Leches!! This is one to which we will return!

Eddy’s is a must visit for Bonaire. The rum cocktails are fantastic and the appetizers are excellent. I recommend sitting with Alexandra for your server. She is super nice and really knows the menu. A great dinner!

We are on vacation in Bonaire for 10 days and doing most of the cooking ourselves. We are only going out to restaurants 3 times and needed to choose wisely. We were looking for a restaurant on the waterfront but came across Eddy's on the review site. Even though it isn't on the water we thought we'd give it a try based on the reviews and menu.Eddy's did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and all wore masks. They are only open a few days a week because of Covid and it would have been nice to see more people here because the food was so good. I started with a Cadillac Margarita and it was very yummy and not lacking on tequila! My partner and I both had beef dishes, she had the green peppercorn filet and I had the beef emince. The beef on both dishes was perfectly cooked!! We had so much food we ended up taking some home!We topped off the night with some Gran Marnier and their dessert which like a flan ( can't remember the name!). Alexandra was very polite and at the table when we needed something. We would definitely go back to Eddy's!! The atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious! Thank you!

We had dinner at Eddy's tonight sooo good! I had a great glass of chardonnay( just asked for house ) followed by crab cake appetizer with wonderful sauce. Then we shared a creamy soup ajiaco and Coco Loco shrimp. Wonderful and great service reasonably priced.

Really great atmosphere . . .fun! The food was delicious! Our server, Bonpeti, was great. Friendly, knowledgeable. We were celebrating my dad's birthday and when they found out they brought over some cake! Really nice place! Will definitely return.

We really enjoyed the food and service. Ask your server their recommendation...we were not disappointed. The Ajiaco soup and cheesecake were exceptional!! Portions are healthy, so bring your appetite!Live music on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The artist is a bit of a character and the music was good. Open M-F 6 to 11pm (kitchen closes at 10). We WILL return. Make a reservation to ensure you can be seated.

Just seriously the best place to go for dinner! Their food is top notch and all the servers are amazing and lots of fun! We come here every year on our 2 week vacation. See you next year!!

I ordered the Local market which the catch of the day and goat. The fish was wahoo, which was tasty. The goat was delicious but loaded with bones. They request that you make reservations and come prepared to spend 1-2 hours there. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There was live music. Definitely will go back
