We stopped here for lunch! We were happy with the food. I love the atmosphere and you can also watch the windsurfers. Great little find! There's a ton of conch shells if you cross over to the mangroves. 😉

We drove about 15 minutes from Divi Flamingo to Foodies. Worth the drive. Great restaurant with terrasses and a view on Lac Bay. The appetizers were awesome and the ribs excellent. Too hot for me but I still devoured mine despite my mouth being on fire. They were so good. Recommended!

We’ve been coming here since Foodies opened, but have noticed a decline in their service. The last few times we’ve been here they seat us (with a reservation), and then proceed to wait on other people (including taking and delivering their food orders) before taking our drink orders. On our most recent visit they did not put our food orders in (even after telling them what we’d like) until we verbally confirmed we were done with our bowl of soup (our only appetizer). They claimed they always wait until after customers tell them they’re done with appetizers (which we did multiple times) to put the food orders into the computer. We waited for our meal for an hour and a half.

What a wonderful discovery as we explored southern Bonaire. We didn't have a reservation, but that was not a problem. Beautiful table on the deck. Service was great, drinks were great, food was delicious. Must try the bitterballen!

Foodies Bonaire turned out to be a hidden gem worth the adventure! Our evening began with a drive that was anything but easy after sunset. While I’m sure it’s a leisurely journey during the day, navigating the unlit, bumpy, and sometimes unpaved roads of Bonaire in the dark added an extra layer of excitement. If you’re heading out after dusk (sunset is around 6:30 p.m.), be prepared for a few potholes and stretches of pitch-black road. But once we arrived, it was like stumbling into a little oasis. The restaurant is tucked away near Sorobon Beach on Lac Bay, and even though we couldn’t see the view in the dark, I can only imagine how stunning it must be during the day. The cozy, casual vibe of the place was immediately inviting, with large outdoor seating areas and a couple of bars indoors that seemed perfect for a laid-back drink with friends. We opted for dinner on the covered patio, where a soft breeze added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive, switching seamlessly between Dutch and English to ensure everyone felt welcome. The menu offered a nice variety, with vegetarian, fish, meat, and pasta options, plus a few specials to keep things interesting.Foodies Bonaire is definitely worth the trip—just consider visiting during daylight if you’re not up for a nighttime driving adventure! Whether you’re there for a meal or just a drink, it’s a great spot to soak up the island’s charm. Easy to make reservations online.

Our server was great! I would see Foodies in passing but would never stop. I was always on my way some where. My husband and I brought family visiting from Canada 🇨🇦 here and they throughly enjoyed it. I expected more from my caramel ice cream dessert based on the description and price but I am glad I tried it. I am always looking for delicious fish on Bonaire and Foodies did not disappoint. Would I suggest Foodies? A resounding….yes.

Foodies was a great discovery on out trip. We were driving in our golf cart around the island, then happened upon this place. It has an amazing vibe with good music. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have unique cocktails and if you like something else, you're welcome to talk to them and they will make a cocktail for you to your liking. I would recommend the Foodies' Bayside Cocktail, and the staff will explain the correct way of drinking it. The Cheesecake was so creamy!!

Probably the most exquisite restaurant on Bonaire. Really tasty, good choice of food, but expensive. Recommended reservation.

First class food and drinks in a very pleasant, dapper-familiar atmosphere. Great location with a great view over a part of LacBay beach. Terrace, bar area with pool billiards. Barrier-free access to the restaurant area, bar and restrooms. Very friendly, helpful but unobtrusive staff. We had two culinary-unforgettable evenings there in Nov 2020 and would love to come back. Very warm greetings from Berlin to the Foodies Team

Great location out of town. Great service, fabulous food. Pretty good entertainment a singer covering Sinatra and other crooners. Dancing on a highway devoid of cars under Orion and Athens tropical stars. The only reason why there’s not five stars on the rating is tables on either side of us had smokers so there was a continuous stream of secondhand smoke wafting across our otherwise delicious food.

I've been going to Bonaire for 10 years. This is hands down my favorite place to have lunch. The view is among the best on the island. The ambiance is calm and relaxing. The decor is unique and trendy. The seared tuna is 10/10. Highly recommend going here for lunch.

We live here on Bonaire and when we go to foodies, we feel like we've gone to another Caribbean island. It's located off Lac Bay, on the Eastern side of the island. It's a beautiful open air restaurant with views of the windsurfers sailing in the bay. There's plenty of parking. The food is spectacular, particularly the fresh fish. Everything they do, they do it well. This is a lovely way to spend an afternoon overlooking the sea.Best to make reservations in high season, although we've also had luck just walking in. This is not a quick stop, but a place to enjoy a leisurely lunch. We do our office holiday party here every year. They are open for lunch and dinner, and sometimes have live music in the evenings. The name of the restaurant is apropos, we are foodies and we love the fresh presentations and tasty food.

Foodies Restaurant on Bonaire is located at the east side of the island, with a stunning view over the blue waters of lac bay.. With amazing blue and green colors the water of Lac Bay almost looks unreal. At night when the moon comes up, Foodies offers you a cosy atmosphere with fire places and atmospheric lightning, where it feels like coming home. Foodies Bay Side Bar and Restaurant offers a fine restaurant with great food and an amazing selection of drinks.

“We moved to Bonaire in 2014, and it was our best decision ever! We are very excited to announce that our dream has become a reality. Starting from now on, we would like to introduce ourselves and welcome you at Foodies Bonaire so we can share our passion for food, drinks and off course cosiness. Feel welcome to our home, feel welcome to Foodies Bonaire. Kind Regards, Kelly and Gerbrand”
