Great location for children swim lessons; our 4 year old twins love it. Instructors are all great with the kids.

I waited there 6 hours for them to bring me my food 6 hours, the worst place I've ever been to don't go there stay far away.

Would love to edit my previous review!The food is much better and the service too!! you don't feel like the place is dismanaged when the "supervisor" isn't there.Great, I'll add a star ⭐⭐⭐⭐------Food is fine, service can be better when manager/owner restaurant is not there (Sunday..)

Excellent service we were a family spending time together next to the pool, no complaints at all the waitress were extremely kind and glad to help every time i went asking for something. Thank you guys for the nice day.

Very good spot to visit if you want to go swimming with the kids. They have two pools both suitable for children. Their frikandel speciaal is amazing and they surf good cocktails. Watch out when you walk back from the pool to you sun-bed because the tiles are definitely slippery!

It's different atmosphere, more for families with children and very casual. Not the fastest service, some times it takes long time before they will notice you . But there are least 2 girls , who will serve you & notice you as soon as you sit at the bar .Other servers are not too ambitious!

Very nice little resort and restaurant/bar. It is Dutch-owned and operated and many of the guests are as well but they are very friendly to all travelers. Not SCUBA-centric but has secure lockers to clean and dry gear. They welcome local residents to swim and take lessons in the two clean pools so it is a little noisy and busy during the day with kids but after dinner the complex is nice and quite. Rooms are clean and comfy.

I stayed in Hill side for two days, and the rooms were nice. Nice view from the west side of the island. The service and the food was good.

I ordered a mojito before dinner. It was beautifully made. Lots of muddled mint like it should have. Dinner for me was the chicken satay. It was plenty to eat with no appetizer ordered. Veggies and french fries were served with the meal.

This off-the-beaten-path place had excellent service and the food was very well prepared. The view is very nice and we enjoyed the open air setting. Highly recommend.

Don’t let the name “apartments” fool you. Went here to eat on New Year’s Eve. Great food, friendly hosts, service is outstanding and the price is right. 7 people, 7 different meals, all outstanding! A definite must eat place.

A very fine place to go with kids. It has two swimmingpools and its has several lounge places. I would not recommend the place if you do not like kids. We just went here for a day, didn't stay at the logging

Hillside Bar & Restaurant has a unique location on top of the hill with amazing views over the island. We serve you the most tasteful dishes for affordable prices. We are known for our special nights! Tuesdays Tuna Night and (almost) every Saturday we have live music by a local artist. For a total overview of all special nights and events you can check out our Facebook or Instagram page. Besides dinner, you and your family are also welcome for some nice breakfast, good lunch, fine drinks at our bar or great time at our two large pools (with pool service). Hope to welcome you soon!
