My wife and I love this place and it is a forever visit on our trips. We like to have dinner the first night on the island so we can wait on grocery shopping. The owner is so gracious and the staff is kind and friendly. I prefer to choose a salad and soup option, which are always fantastic, and my wife chooses between the shrimp dishes which are also great. The ambience is fantastic and it's obviously a date place for locals. Looking forward to our next visit. Try it.

Delightful restaurant wonderful service the food is exceptional!!! My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here after a day of snorkeling. I was unsure if we would be able to get a table due to the popularity of this establishment and reservations are strongly suggested. We happened to be fortunate one table was available before the reserved guests arrived. I would suggest the grilled snapper but every dish I saw smelled amazing and was prepared to be pleasing to the eye as well. The staff was very friendly and informative of the area and its culture.

Almost 2 years ago my father in law had the tuna here while I ordered something else. For the past 2 years that seared tuna has been on my mind. Tonight I had the pleasure of ordering it myself and my god, it is as good, or even better, than I imagined. All the fish here are prepared excellently and taste phenomenal. I can recommend this place to anyone who loves fresh fish!

Reserving a table was last minute and very easy. I was seated at a nice and cozy, yet still peaceful table. The menu and catches of the day were briefly described and I ended up ordering the 3-course menu for around $55. The food and wines were fantastic and they played good music that fit the mood perfectly. All in all a very nice and good experience, a definite recommendation!

We heard a lot of good reviews about this restaurant from people in our hotel who have been to Bonaire many times. On our fifth try to find a restaurant we love we went here and we finally found our favourite restaurant!Everything was great, the food, the service, and prices are reasonable! The fish of the day was very moist, the smoked tuna was amazing! The wine was great! And the view at sunset was beautiful! We went there twice and tried different seafood meals and everything was very tasty! We highly recommend trying this restaurant when you are on Bonaire.

Excellent food and service on our first visit so we tried them out a second time to make sure they were the real deal. They 100% are the real deal! You have to check them out when you’re on the island. The smoked tuna appetizer is amazing (that’s why it’s half eaten in the picture).

We enjoyed our supper here, despite having to take an early reservation at 5:30. The food was delicious and the view of the sunset was beautiful. Prices reflect the location. Our daughter enjoyed the spicy shrimp noodle bowl, the boys had fish and chips (and the wait staff were kind enough to bring my English husband some vinegar for his chips) and I enjoyed the three course special for the night: tuna fritter (fabulous), poke bowl (your choice of tuna, shrimp or tenderloin) and spiced later cake with cinnamon ice cream for dessert (the four of us shared it). All in all, no real complaints...we just need to get used to the prices on Bonaire!

This restaurant is nicely located downtown with good views. Reservations were required and wait staff were attentive. Decided to order the fish and chips as my main course. Being a mainly fish restaurant one would assume this would be a competent dish on the menu. However, the dish was really rather mediocre. The fish itself was under seasoned and a bit of a dense fleshed choice for the batter. The tartar sauce was lacking acid and tasted mostly like mayonnaise. Best part was the fries - hot and crispy.

Made a reservation for lunch. Service was quick. Food was good, but could use more seasoning. My salad had no dressing - first time I had to salt my salad. Catch of the day was Barracuda and it was cooked very moist. The restaurant is near the water and offers a great view.

Friendly and quick service. Ordered fish and chips. The fries were fresh and crispy. The fish was decent. It lacked flavour in the batter and was more oiler than most fish and chips I've tried. Finally, the portions are on the small side. Great view of the water though!

The food was excellent and reasonably priced, the business acumen and how they treat people is zero. We stayed beside them and they open at 5pm and they tell you "we are all booked up" and it is empty until around 7pm they do not offer any other options. We ate one time and wanted to do it more but they say "you don't care about what people know is how they make you feel. Their unfounded arrogance is a true representation of the island as a whole which takes away from the natural beauty!

Nice busy place right off stand. We had the Poke bowl and it was quite good, be sure to ask for wasabi. Bobby's G&T was outstanding. The fish of the day, wahoo, was a bit overcooked for our liking. But the dessert, triple (something) was really good. Whip cream, finger cookies and raspberry sauce on bottom was a great blend.

Made reservations ahead of time - and we were seated as we arrived, no problems with service. The food was OK - ordered the catch of the day - grilled snapper, and the tuna meal. The snapper was nicely done, however the Tuna was supposed to be seared, not cooked completely through. I realize we are on Bonaire and everything is more expensive, however, you would think that a local catch of the week would not be $30 but it is. Drinks are expensive by US prices, and CR prices, but again not ridiculous - we were really excited to eat here as we had been told be several people that is was the best fish restaurant on the island. We would say overall it was a solid average...

This place was recommended by our tour guide today and hands down the best food we have had all week. We are so thankful to have found it. We were greeted promptly and our waiter was great at recommending food. I had the tuna which was the best I have had in years! Seared to perfection. So thankful we found this place because our cruise ship food was not the best.

Service and food was terrific. The wait staff remembered my friend and his drink. We did not have a reservation, so we were seated on the sidewalk. The sunset view.was perfect. Unfortunately, their special desert was only available to the full dinner menu. We had the tuna special and the sea bass special. A bottle of the house sweet wine was quite reasonable at $32.50. The specials were just under $30.00.Our server Youp did check with management but was told my friend was not eligible for the special desert. The alternative desert was fine.

Restaurant looks Nice on the outside with a nice view over the bay. Modern vibes all the wayThe food however wasn’t that modern or any good. The starter was a dish from the 90’s with smoked salmon, bell peppers and lettuce. Boring and a tiny bit odd with the flavours not working together.Main was the catch of the day. It seems to me that an island as Bonaire has plenty of great fish to offer, however they come and serve this. Very boring, tasteless and tough filet. Also here the lack of the right ingredients is astonishing. It isn’t the worse restaurant in my life, but with the price tag it has, and the vibes it gives. Indefinitely would expect WAY more.Would not go back

We were looking for a place to go eat and found this nice Sea Food place. We all ordered the “Catch of the Day” the Red Snapper and it was delicious with a great display of the meal with French fries. When we left we also saw them catch the fish live. The staff are super nice and “tall”. I totally recommend trying it out if you hasn’t already.

My meal was great, my wife's was very bland, and my dessert was subpar. My seafood bisque and catch of the day were very good. The cheesecake had a very gelatinous mouth feel. Not very creamy. My wife's meal were the vegetarian options. They were lack luster and boring. It is a shame that most restaurants have very boring options for vegetarians when they have the wherewithal to make absolutely stunning options if they even tried a little bit. The pearl couscous was bland. Make a tasty sauce to go with the couscous and veggies, not just a small amount of bland tomato sauce. Her creme brule was great though. Also, the service was inattentive. Not the server's fault. There were only three of them for the whole restaurant, and they were hosting, busing, and helping each other out as best they could. A restaurant charging these proces should have more workers.

Easy to find and right in the middle of town, this spot has lovely outdoor dining with great sunset views. The food is excellent and extremely fresh. Great service too–they made it super easy to arrange reservations in advance, which wasn’t the case with most other restaurants around the island. I was most impressed with their picnic package in conjunction with epic tours–for only $75, they packed us a gourmet lunch with more food than we could eat, including cheesecake, salmon wraps, fruit and a beautiful sandwich full of fresh ingredients. The cost also covered our boat trip to Klien Bonaire, two towels, two beach chairs (with attached umbrella/shades on each–a necessity!), and a lovely little picnic basket with glasses, plates, and everything you need for a lunch setup. 10/10!

The food is great here by big city standards. But you must sit up on the concrete part not down on the tables right by the road (only relevant if you are a party of 2). This is because the service is bad on the lower tables and excellent on the upper tables. Also, by the way, you will see trucks parked on the ocean side of the street on the sidewalk but police tow from there so don't park there.

Yummy Oysters, great service and delicious 3 course menu! I kicked off with an Ice Tea Cocktail, which is personally disliked, but a great sauvignon made up for it! Food 5 stars, Service 5 stars, even though the little cocktail mistake still hits the fiver for me, keep it up!

Good value for 3 course menu on Bonaire, but requires reservation to get a table.Missing last star for 2 reasons:Fish was well prepared, but the fish quality itself was not as good as at other places and by the name you expect great fish.Only place on Bonaire that we received bad fries. They were changed on complain, but again using less tasteful potatoes than at other places.

We walked down the Malecon to this place and were pleasantly surprised. Excellent mojitos and some tasty dishes. Most impressed by the way Ricardo was handling his many, many tables. Greeted every table with smiles and jokes, took orders, delivered drinks and food with alacrity. The guy was a one-man show, and we said as much. Kudos, Ricardo!

Yummy food. Just everything we all ate we really liked. But we booked a couple of months in advance for our anniversary and where quite surprised they did nothing like even a flower from the many out front. Or a cute desert. I have never had that happen before and this was our 36 year anniversary. The waiter did a great job but no mention of the fact we where there for our anniversary. That was a fail.

Visited this restaurant with colleagues. Decided to go for their three-course meal. I had the carpaccio as a starter. The meat was just a tad too soft in my opinion, but taste and presentation was ok.For mains I picked the catch of the day, which was red snapper. Loved the sauce, and the fish filet was cooked well, but it still contained a few leftover pieces of fish bone. And for dessert I chose the brownie cake with chocolate sauce, which was quite delicious.Overall a pleasant visit, with very courteous and professional staff.

The quality of food/ menu has improved with the new owners. The prices are reasonable and all of the seafood /fish dishes we have tried have been outstanding. Service, setting and views incredible as always.. especially at sunset. Highly recommend!

We had a really nice visit at “it rains fishes” we loved the food and it all tastes really good and fresh. We started with bread with a delicious aioli (definitely recommend it was so creamy). The staff was friendly and the atmosphere wasreally nice.

Family owned and operated beautiful restaurant overlooking the seaside. The service is attentive. The food is fabulous. The menu is diverse. The owners are wonderful people. Don’t miss it!

The great thing about this restaurant is the view and drinks.Fresh tuna sandwich was completely overcooked. Service was very slow and we had to ask for multiple things. Could be an incredible place with some attention.

Food here was excellent, I’d even go so far as saying it was the best meal we had whilst on Bonaire. Staff was friendly and attentive as well as being very accommodating to my keto eating preference.

We had a great night out here. Food came out appropriately hot or cold, and a reasonable amount of time for a group of 10. Our waitress did an excellent job with our orders, everything was correct and tasted great. Good value, good drinks. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice restaurant.

We ordered the 3 course menu with cerviche, and tuna sashimi as starters ; tuna 3 way and catch of the day as main course and Lucian icecream cake as dessert. It is overall a good meal. Especially the tuna and icecream cake were a delight.
