From ice cream vendor with an ice cream cart to a household name in Wassenaar and far beyond. Luciano now belongs, 18 years later, to one of the best ice cream parlors in the Netherlands and has opened a branch on Bonaire in 2016.
Only the best is good enough
Luciano stands for a traditional fresh product that is freshly prepared every day. We work with the most modern ice machines and with pure ingredients, ‘only the best is good enough’. The ice cream preparation takes place in the professional ice-cream factory in the middle of the shop, where the preparation of ice cream is visible to everyone, and that is unique! We have deliberately opted for an ‘open ice cream shop’ because making ice cream is a traditional craft and that should be seen.
Classical vs. Unique
At Luciano you will encounter the classics such as strawberries, vanilla, yogurt, lemon, banana, straciatella and so much more. There are also flavors that can not be found anywhere else, such as the popular tamarind ice cream, prepared with the tamarind syrup of a local resident.

Daily fresh products
Every day our ice cream is fresh and traditionally prepared in our professional ice cream maker. Luciano works exclusively with fresh products. For our fruit ice cream, for example, we only use fresh fruit or freshly squeezed juices, freshly brewed pure espresso coffee from the brand Illy for our coffee ice cream, and delicious Belgian chocolate from the Callebaut brand for our chocolate ice cream.

In less than a weeks time I went here 3 times 😂 The ice cream was amazingly yummy! We had some paninis too and enjoyed them as well. Staff was very nice especially the gentleman that helped us with getting breakfast at night for the next day. ❤️

I could not find good coffee anywhere in Bonaire until I stumbled upon Luciano. The Gelato and coffee had me coming back everyday! Big variety of gelato, average variety of coffee but it was delicious. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We went for ice cream. A sugar cone and single scoop ice cream was reasonable. The rest of the menu was pricey. However, it is on the boardwalk where the cruise ships unload for day excursions, so I am not surprised.Very nice staff, really good ice cream, and a very nice atmosphere.

I went two separate times. Once for a cappuccino and once for a milkshake. They were both good. I really enjoyed the milkshake. It was $7.50USD and you can add up to 3 different flavours into it. Very good! I had coffee/dark chocolate ice cream milkshake!

Delicious ice cream that seems to taste even better because we are in beautiful Bonaire! We have eaten at both locations on the island and been extremely satisfied with both. I love Dutch ice cream. I always visit on my trips to Bonaire. There are two locations on the island and I stopped at both. Plenty of different good flavors were available at the two locations.

A very pleasant experience, it is a family place, there are high and low tables, outdoors and indoors, the ice cream is delicious, the cakes and coffee too. You can go to see the sunset, like me I did not take a picture of my rich ice cream, to see the sunset.

Luciano in Bonaire. Best Ice Cream hands down! Tastier and creamier than any gelato or ice cream I've ever tasted. Try the raspberry crumb, strawberry cheesecake, mango, or pistachio. I'm confident that the other many flavors are just as delicious. They also offer nice seating inside or outside (next to the ocean). Don't miss having this delicious treat!

This is the best gelato on the island so far. The reason for four stars is it's a little pricey however I understand with the times everything has increased in value. I would recommend the location in Hato and the one in Kaya Grande.

I started going here to use the wifi to upload videos, but I discovered the food is excellent! The service is great, everyone working there is helpful and very friendly! Highly recommend it for lunch, but although they are open late, don't expect dinner as the kitchen closes at 4. The air conditioning is most welcome!

Very nice icecreams, you can have it and then walk a bit around. The icecreams are good and cheap. A scope is 2 dollars. It's not a big scope but it is cheap, 2 scopes is 3.5 dollars. You have a nice variety of flavours, at least 8 different ones. You can taste that it is fresh.

The coffee here is packed with flavor and not too strong, which is perfect for me. However, the service really depends on who is working. Some of the staff are attentive and observant, while others have turned ignoring people to the point that once you get their attention and place your order, it may or may not get made. There have been days when waiting 20 minutes for a cappuccino is the norm, and to make it worse these were not busy days. I used to go there on a daily basis, and now maybe once a week.
